We are looking for an experienced Release Lead to manage enterprise-wide release planning, deployment governance, and risk management across multiple applications and platforms. The role is responsible for ensuring successful releases through effective coordination, quality controls, stakeholder management, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Lead release planning, scheduling, and deployment activities across multiple projects and teams.
Manage release roadmaps, dependencies, and resource alignment to ensure smooth delivery.
Facilitate Go/No-Go meetings and coordinate release readiness assessments.
Conduct release risk assessments and develop rollback and contingency plans.
Monitor release performance, metrics, and deployment success rates.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
Maintain release documentation, audit trails, and compliance requirements.
Drive continuous improvement through post-release reviews and lessons learned sessions.
Develop and maintain release dashboards and reporting.
Mentor teams on release management best practices and governance standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, IT Project Delivery, or a similar role.
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.
Experience managing production deployments within large-scale enterprise environments.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Must Have:
Strong experience in Release Management, Change Management, or IT Delivery.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, Bitbucket, Jenkins, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience managing complex releases across multiple applications and teams.
Strong risk assessment, dependency management, and deployment planning skills.
Experience analyzing metrics such as Change Success Rate, Deployment Frequency, and Lead Time.
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience preparing executive-level release status and risk reports.
