We are looking for a Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable APIs and backend services. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a banking or financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Design, build, and support scalable microservices and integrations.
Implement secure, high-performance solutions following coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with development teams on code reviews, testing, and deployments.
Manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose.
Support CI/CD processes and cloud deployments in AWS environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience developing enterprise-grade applications and APIs.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must Have:
3-5+ years of Python development experience.
Experience in banking or financial services.
Strong experience with FastAPI and REST API development.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, and code reviews.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Understanding of API security, JWT, OAuth2, and secure coding practices.
