The Python Developer will build and maintain secure, scalable APIs and backend applications within an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python applications and RESTful APIs using FastAPI
Build and manage multi-container environments using Docker and Docker Compose
Implement API versioning, error handling, authentication, and secure coding practices
Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases
Support AWS deployments and CI/CD workflows
Participate in code reviews and maintain source code using Bitbucket
Follow enterprise coding standards and development best practices
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Banking or financial services experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Must Have:
3 to 5 years of Python development experience
Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI
Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Strong understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, and error handling
Experience with JWT, OAuth2, and secure coding practices
Experience with AWS, CI/CD workflows, and Bitbucket
