Job Description

The Cybersecurity Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding client relationships related to Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and Security Operations Center (SOC) services and broader cybersecurity solutions. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring service excellence, identifying business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through account expansion and new client acquisition.

Responsibilities:

Manage and grow cybersecurity client accounts, serving as the primary relationship manager for VAPT, SOC, and related cybersecurity services.

Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and conduct regular business reviews to assess security needs, project outcomes, and client satisfaction.

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of VAPT, SOC, and other cybersecurity engagements, coordinating with internal technical teams to ensure successful execution.

Translate technical findings into business-focused recommendations, guiding clients on vulnerabilities, threat monitoring, risk mitigation, remediation priorities, and security roadmaps.

Drive revenue growth through account expansion, renewals, upselling, lead generation, client presentations, and acquisition of new business opportunities across cybersecurity service lines.

Prepare proposals, SOWs, quotations, and contract renewals while staying current on cybersecurity threats, SOC trends, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities to support service portfolio growth.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience working with cybersecurity consulting firms, managed security service providers (MSSPs), or cybersecurity solution providers.

Strong understanding of VAPT, SOC services, web application security testing, network security assessments, cloud security assessments, security risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and incident response concepts.

Must Have:

At least 5 years of solid account management, client relationship management, or business development experience within the cybersecurity industry.

Demonstrated experience managing clients and engagements involving Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) services.

Proven track record of achieving revenue growth, account expansion, and client retention targets.

Experience working with cybersecurity consulting firms, managed security service providers (MSSPs), or cybersecurity solution providers is highly preferred.
