We are looking for a Performance Test QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of applications through manual and automated testing. The role will support test planning, execution, defect management, performance testing, and release readiness activities while working closely with development, product, and DevOps teams.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, integration, system, and performance test cases.
Analyze business requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios and coverage.
Identify, document, track, and validate defects through closure.
Support release planning, testing activities, and quality sign-offs.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
Execute performance and load testing activities and provide test execution reports.
Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to improve software quality.
Participate in sprint ceremonies, QA reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Share testing knowledge and contribute to QA best practices across the team.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
Experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar is preferred.
Automation testing experience is preferred; candidates with hands-on exposure through training or actual execution are welcome.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Must Have:
Experience in Software QA, Test Engineering, or Performance Testing.
Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing methodologies.
Hands-on exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
Understanding of API testing and backend validation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
