The ETL Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting ETL processes, data pipelines, and database-related solutions for banking systems. The role requires strong hands-on experience in ETL development, MS SQL/T-SQL, SSIS/Visual Studio, data preparation, data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting support.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines
Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic
Perform data cleansing, validation, analysis, manipulation, and loading activities
Troubleshoot ETL jobs, database issues, data quality concerns, and production errors
Support data preparation, reporting, and dashboard-related requirements
Develop and maintain integration tools, utilities, and ETL documentation
Perform testing, debugging, deployment support, and maintenance of ETL solutions
Coordinate with business users, developers, and project teams to ensure accurate data outputs
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise data environments is an advantage
Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Excel, SSRS, Power BI, or similar tools is an advantage
Exposure to data migration projects is an advantage
Familiarity with cloud services or other programming languages is a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Good communication skills and ability to work with business and technical teams
Must be amenable to onsite work in BGC, Taguig
Must Have:
3+ years of experience as an ETL Developer or in a similar data engineering role
Strong hands-on experience in ETL development, not just production support or monitoring
3+ years of T-SQL or strong MS SQL development experience
Experience using SSIS / Visual Studio for ETL creation and implementation
Strong knowledge of data preparation, data analysis, data cleansing, data manipulation, and data validation
Experience building or supporting ETL pipelines from source to target
Strong troubleshooting skills for ETL jobs, database errors, and data processing issues
Ability to create working ETL programs that run successfully and produce expected outputs
