The IT Business Analyst bridges business users and the development team by translating business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Translate requirements into specifications, user stories, and use cases
Map business processes and identify gaps, risks, and improvements
Maintain and groom the product backlog with the development team
Facilitate stakeholder discussions and requirements workshops
Prepare project reports, findings, and recommendations
Collaborate with architects and technical teams on proposed solutions
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
Banking or fintech experience is an advantage
IIBA, ECBA, CBAP, or a related certification is an advantage
Must Have:
At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
Experience in Agile delivery using Scrum and/or Kanban
Experience creating user stories, use cases, and technical specifications
Knowledge of process mapping, gap analysis, and backlog grooming
Understanding of digital channels
