The Test Manager will lead the testing function across technology initiatives, ensuring software solutions meet quality, performance, and business requirements. This role is responsible for defining test strategies, overseeing test delivery, managing testing resources, and driving quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Define and oversee test strategies, plans, estimates, and quality assurance activities across projects.
Lead and manage Test Leads and Test Analysts to ensure effective and timely test execution.
Establish testing standards, processes, and governance aligned with organizational quality objectives.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineering Teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Monitor testing progress, risks, issues, and quality metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and test results.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including test automation and testing best practices.
Support resource planning, mentoring, and capability development within the testing team.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies, TDD, BDD, Test Automation, and Continuous Testing.
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, and JUnit.
Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and decision-making skills.
Must Have:
5+ years of Software Testing and Quality Assurance experience.
3+ years of experience leading testing teams or managing Test Leads/Test Analysts.
Experience in Banking or Financial Services.
Strong background in test strategy, test planning, test governance, and quality management.
Experience managing end-to-end testing across multiple projects or workstreams.
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, or TestRail.
Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
