We are looking for a Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of applications through manual and automated testing. The role will support test planning, execution, defect management, and release validation while working closely with Development, Product, and DevOps teams.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, integration, and system test cases.
Review requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios and coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Support release planning, testing activities, and quality gate sign-offs.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
Prepare test execution reports and provide release recommendations.
Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
Participate in sprint activities, test reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Share testing knowledge and contribute to QA best practices.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Automation testing experience is preferred; candidates with hands-on exposure through training or actual execution are welcome.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Must Have:
Experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect management.
Hands-on exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.
Understanding of API and backend testing.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
