We are looking for a Data Engineer to develop and support cloud-based data pipelines, reporting datasets, and scheduled data processes. The role will ensure data quality, pipeline reliability, and timely delivery of business reports while following enterprise data standards.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines and reporting tables.
Develop scripts for data extraction, loading, transformation, and automation.
Support orchestration workflows using Airflow, Step Functions, or similar tools.
Execute and monitor scheduled reports and resolve job failures.
Perform data reconciliation, completeness checks, and quality validation.
Monitor pipeline health and maintain logs, runbooks, and execution records.
Support cloud storage, data warehouse, and query workloads.
Maintain data mappings, flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
Prepare stable and refreshed datasets for Tableau reporting.
Resolve data extract, refresh, and access issues within agreed SLAs.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 to 4 years of experience in data engineering or data operations.
Experience supporting cloud-based data platforms and production pipelines.
Knowledge of data governance, access controls, and data privacy requirements.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Must Have:
Experience developing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
Strong SQL and scripting skills, preferably Python.
Knowledge of cloud storage, data warehouses, and query engines.
Experience with Airflow, Step Functions, or similar orchestration tools.
Understanding of data quality, reconciliation, and validation controls.
Experience supporting Tableau datasets and scheduled reports.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD environments.
