We are looking for an Automation Tester who will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. This role involves close collaboration with development and QA teams to support continuous testing and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency and reliability
Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to understand requirements, test scenarios and to resolve defects
Perform test execution, log and track defects, and conduct retesting to ensure product quality
Analyze test results and provide clear, timely reports on quality status
Execute functional, regression, integration or end-to-end testing across multiple browsers, versions and operating systems
Ensure automation scripts follow best practices and coding standards
Participate in continuous improvement of QA and automation processes
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related or Computer Science field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must Have:
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation
Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC
Experience in creating and maintaining automated test cases
Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
Proficient in test execution, defect logging and tracking, and retesting with strong attention to detail
Skilled at analyzing test outcomes and delivering clear, timely reports for team communication
Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Proactive in contributing to the optimization of automation frameworks and the improvement of QA processes
