The Application Engineer (Software Engineer) is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications to support business operations and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and enhance software applications based on business requirements, ensuring clean, secure, and well‑documented code.
Analyze user needs, create technical specifications, and design application architecture, databases, and system integrations.
Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application reliability, working closely with QA teams to resolve defects.
Deploy applications to production and provide technical support, troubleshooting issues in coordination with IT infrastructure teams.
Maintain technical documentation, ensure compliance with security standards, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams for continuous improvement
Must have:
3+ years of experience in software development.
Proven experience in software development using programming languages such as .NET programming languages, Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
