The Network Architect is responsible for the advanced implementation, management, optimization and support complex network infrastructure, with a significant focus on translating architectural designs into robust and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Translate network architecture designs into fully functional, optimized, and scalable network solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
Implement and configure complex network infrastructures—including routing, switching, security appliances, load balancers, wireless systems, and cloud connectivity.
Serve as a top‑tier escalation point for advanced network issues, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing proactive measures for stability and performance.
Implement and manage network security components, contribute to policy enforcement, and support audits and vulnerability assessments.
Maintain detailed network documentation and collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure consistent, architecture‑aligned deployments.
Must have:
8+ years network engineering experience with deep hands‑on expertise in implementing and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures.
Expert knowledge of networking protocols & technologies (routing, switching, load balancers, wireless, cloud connectivity).
Strong network security experience, including implementing security solutions, participating in audits, and enforcing policies.
Advanced troubleshooting & root‑cause analysis skills for major network incidents and performance degradation.
Proficiency with network monitoring/management tools and experience contributing to monitoring strategies.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both engineers and architects.
