The Lead Cloud Architect is responsible for the design, governance, and optimization of the organization’s public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, governance, and modernization of public, private, and hybrid cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and business goals.
Drive cloud migration initiatives and define architecture standards for multi‑cloud, microservices, serverless, containers, and automation frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, IaC).
Ensure implementation of robust cloud security, identity and access management, compliance frameworks, and disaster recovery practices across cloud environments.
Collaborate with data center, DevOps, and application teams to integrate cloud services with on‑prem infrastructure and support hybrid operations.
Manage cloud vendors and optimize capacity, cost, performance, and reliability through monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement.
Must have:
Minimum of 5+ years in IT infrastructure, with 3+ years in cloud architecture and strategy.
Proven experience designing and implementing public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
Experience with application modernization, cloud migration, and multi-cloud environments.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Cloud certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Pro, Azure Architect Expert, Google Cloud
Professional Cloud Architect).
