Job Description

The Lead Data Center Architect is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and optimization of the organization’s physical data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Lead the end‑to‑end design and optimization of on‑premises data center infrastructure, covering compute, storage, networking, power, cooling, and structured cabling.

Oversee implementation, modernization, and lifecycle management of physical and virtual infrastructure, including HCI, SDN, and hybrid cloud integrations.

Ensure data center compliance with physical security, regulatory, and audit standards (ISO, NIST, BSP), working closely with InfoSec and Compliance teams.

Drive proactive monitoring, performance optimization, capacity planning, and root‑cause analysis to maintain high availability and operational excellence.

Manage vendor selection, contracts, SLAs, and coordinate across engineering, operations, cloud, and application teams for seamless infrastructure readiness.

Must have:

Minimum of 3–5 years in data center infrastructure planning and operations.

Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale on-premises infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).

Hands-on experience with facility systems: power, cooling, cabling, access control

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Information

Technology, or related fields.

Industry certifications preferred (e.g., CDCP, ITIL).
